Addendum

Consumer Commerce Addendum

Rules for purchasing tickets, products, subscriptions, and pay-what-you-want offerings through TrueFans CONNECT™.

Effective: June 10, 2026
Last updated: June 10, 2026

This addendum supplements the Master Terms and the Fan Terms. It applies when you buy a ticket, subscription, product, workshop, or other Sellable through the Service.

1.Overview

When you check out, the listing shows the seller (typically a venue or merchant). That seller is your counterparty for the purchase. TrueFans CONNECT™ provides the technology and payment collection on the seller's behalf, but is not the principal of the sale.

2.Who You Are Buying From

The seller's name appears at checkout. The seller is responsible for fulfillment, admission, customer service, and (within the bounds of applicable law) refund policy. Disputes about delivery or experience are between you and the seller; we may, but are not required to, help mediate.

3.Tickets & Admission

  • A digital ticket grants admission when scanned or redeemed at the door. Lost, screenshotted, or duplicated codes may be invalid.
  • Treat your ticket like cash; do not share screenshots of QR codes publicly.
  • Admission may be conditioned on venue policies (age, ID, dress, behavior). The venue may refuse admission consistent with law and its posted policies.

4.Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the stated price and interval until you cancel.
  • Before the initial charge and before each renewal, we present clear-and-conspicuous terms (price, billing interval, cancellation method) and obtain your affirmative consent, consistent with the FTC Negative Option Rule (16 CFR Part 429) and state auto-renewal laws.
  • You can cancel at any time through your account dashboard with no more steps than it took to subscribe (one-click or equivalent simple online cancellation). Cancellation stops future renewals and does not refund the current term unless required by law or the seller's policy.
  • We will send renewal reminders and post-cancellation confirmations as required by California, New York, and other applicable laws.
  • If payment fails on renewal, we may retry, suspend access, or cancel; you may incur late or reactivation fees disclosed at the time.

5.Pay-What-You-Want

For pay-what-you-want Sellables, the amount you enter at checkout (subject to disclosed minimums and maximums) is the price you pay. There is no negotiation after checkout. PWYW payments are not donations; they are payment for the specific Sellable.

6.Ticket Transfers

  • Transfers are allowed when the listing permits and require recipient email verification with a one-time code.
  • Transfers are final once accepted. We cannot reverse a transfer to a wrong recipient who has confirmed receipt.
  • Do not transfer in violation of the venue's posted policy or applicable resale law (e.g., consumer-ticket-protection statutes in CA, NY, and other states).

7.Workshops & Limited-Capacity Events

  • Workshop registrations may be capacity-limited and subject to waitlists.
  • The hosting venue or organizer determines content, instructor, format, and refund/no-show policy.
  • For paid workshops, refunds (if any) are governed by the hosting venue's policy and applicable law.

8.Refunds, Cancellations & Postponements

  • Refunds for Sellables are governed by the seller's posted policy and applicable law.
  • For cancelled events, the seller is generally expected to issue refunds; we may, at our discretion, refund Fans and clawback the amount from the seller's Balance.
  • For postponed events, your ticket typically remains valid for the new date; if you cannot attend, refund eligibility depends on the seller's policy and applicable law.
  • Chargebacks before contacting the seller and us may result in account restrictions; see Master Terms §11.

9.External Links & Off-Platform Sales

Some listings link to external ticket vendors (for example, third-party box offices or Bandsintown affiliates). Those sales occur off-platform. TrueFans CONNECT™ is not the merchant of record, does not process those payments, and is not responsible for those transactions or for the external sites.

10.Support

For order issues, contact the seller through the support information shown on your order receipt. For platform issues (payment errors, transfer problems, suspected fraud), contact [email protected].
