TrueFans CONNECT™ (operated by Lightwork Digital on behalf of New Music Lives) is committed to providing a website and platform experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. This Accessibility Statement describes our goals, the standards we follow, and how you can request assistance or report barriers.
1.Our Commitment
We strive to ensure that people with disabilities can access and use our digital services with the same independence, dignity, and effectiveness as other users. Accessibility is an ongoing priority in our product design, development, and content practices.
If you encounter a barrier on TrueFans CONNECT™, we want to hear from you and will work to provide the information or functionality you need through an accessible alternative or timely remediation.
2.Conformance Status
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is widely recognized as a practical benchmark for accessible web content and is frequently referenced in accessibility settlements and guidance related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Current status: We are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Some pages, flows, or embedded third-party components may not yet fully meet every success criterion. Where we identify gaps, we prioritize fixes based on impact and user need.
3.Applicable Standards
This statement and our accessibility efforts are informed by:
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — Title III obligations for places of public accommodation, including digital services offered to the public.
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA — Technical guidelines for perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust web content.
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act — Where applicable to federally funded or related activities we support.
Conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA helps us meet widely accepted expectations for accessible public-facing websites under U.S. law, though no automated review can guarantee legal compliance in every context.
4.Accessibility Measures
We take the following measures to support accessibility across TrueFans CONNECT™:
- Using semantic HTML and meaningful page structure (headings, landmarks, lists).
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful non-text content where feasible.
- Supporting keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators for interactive controls.
- Designing forms with associated labels, instructions, and error identification.
- Using sufficient color contrast for text and important user interface elements.
- Respecting user preferences such as reduced motion where supported.
- Testing with automated accessibility checkers and manual keyboard/screen reader reviews.
- Including accessibility considerations in design and engineering workflows.
5.Compatibility
TrueFans CONNECT™ is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and commonly used assistive technologies, including recent versions of:
- Screen readers (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
- Screen magnification and zoom features
- Speech recognition software
- Keyboard-only navigation
Older browsers, outdated assistive technology, or unsupported configurations may not provide the full intended experience.
6.Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may present accessibility challenges. Known or emerging areas include:
- PDFs or documents uploaded by artists, venues, or third parties that were not created accessibly.
- User-generated media (images, videos, event posters) without complete text alternatives.
- Complex data visualizations or maps that may not yet have full non-visual equivalents.
- Legacy pages or admin tools that are still being brought up to our current standards.
- Embedded widgets or payment flows hosted by third-party providers.
If you need content in an alternative format (for example, plain text, large print, or a described summary), contact us using the information in Section 8 and we will work with you in good faith.
7.Third-Party Content
Our platform may link to or embed content from third parties (payment processors, maps, social media, ticketing partners, analytics, and similar services). We do not control the accessibility of all third-party experiences and encourage those vendors to maintain accessible products.
When a third-party component blocks your ability to complete a task, tell us what you were trying to do—we may be able to offer an alternative channel or escalate the issue with the provider.
8.Feedback & Assistance
