How does discovery and presence work?
We combine location signals with venue and show data so fans see the right performance when they’re at or near a room. Shareable artist and show pages plus discover lists work from anywhere—presence just makes the room smarter.
How much of a donation goes to the artist?
Platform fees are membership-based: 8% on Connect (artist keeps ~92%), 5% on Partner ($11/mo), and 5% on Pro ($29/mo). Card processing is separate (about 4.4% in current configuration). Full breakdown on pricing.
What happens when an artist says “Support me at TrueFans CONNECT”?
Fans open TrueFans CONNECT and are automatically directed to that artist’s support page—so they can tip without hunting for a link. Presence at the venue makes the match even sharper.
Can I support an artist if I’m not at the venue?
Yes. Use their profile or show link, QR, or Discover—donations and gifts work from the page as long as the artist has them enabled.
How do artists get paid?
Artists connect Manifest Financial from the artist dashboard (Dashboard → Money) and complete onboarding so donations can settle to their bank.
Is my card data stored on TrueFans?
Payments run through certified processors; we don’t handle raw card data like a wallet vault on our servers. Use the in-flow disclosures at checkout for the latest.
